What a school

Ow.. I was a bad bad student....

Today's class started at 8am... Though i managed to scrambled out of bed at 6.45am and then reach school on time, I was totally restless.

I still manage to do the tutorial questions and almost all were correct, but I was still pretty drowsy...

After that, we went for a quick breakfast and I had tummy ache... Probably because I was joking too much last night...

Ha-ha.
It was really funny...
I just realized Winifred's address is starbutt...
I was shocked and amused at it but she said it was created during sec 2
Then during that split moment, i just thought of stomach... but i played around with english, and spelled it starmach....
This was all inspired by Fifi because I saw "Gsus" in her msn nick before...
She is really a musician... haha...

Anyway, here is the story of starmach... and thus, my starmache. So i was in the toilet, twice today...

Now... going to do something crazy for TP NEW GEN!!! haha... pretty shy.. but well, its all worth for the lost souls!!!

Make a change, make an impact! See ya..

Revalation about revelation

Have you ever felt that you realize the power of 'something', that it is so amazing and you did not know about it before... You will be so shocked and amazed and definitely be asking "how come I did not about it sooner!"...

Then... have you ever wonder that the power of realizing something is even more powerful, because? You will wonder why people can get revelations, and you have yet to experience that...

But until one day when you finally got your own revelation, you will be even more amazed than anybody else.

You will realize the power of a revelation.

I call that a revelation of revelations.
I love learning new things and being inspired...

I have my share today...
It is on wisdom and good fear... These both propels you towards your fulfilled destiny...

How about you?

Gratitude

This word 'gratitude' just rang my mind recently and now, so I am letting it out.
I have been praying for my pastors and my leaders daily for 1 week already and everyday my heart just gets warmer, and also, gratified.
If there is any one time where you experience an inability to express your deepest feelings for someone or something, that is how I feel towards Pastors and Leaders.
I thank God for 'tongues' for it truly expresses our feelings through the medium of the HS. No wonder, God calls HS the Comforter, the Helper, and many more... He is truly omnipotent-potent...

Last Sunday was Charleston's debut preaching in the main service, with around 400 people! I tell you, if you are not there, you missed a whole lot!
It was so anointed, and Charleston really seems so much like pastors...
I am so inspired. I bet you are too...

In a nutshell, Charleston taught us about the 3 characteristics that a leader should have, be it you are an existing leader or aspire to become a leader.
1) A leader bears the burden
2) A leader has the fear of God
3) A leader is dedicated and committed

1: Bearing the burden
It is so different but yet it is so important that in HoGc, we want to bear the burden of our psts and leaders. In many places, leaders arises for the sake of title and passion.

But deep down in the hearts and spirits of HoGc leaders, they truly do what they do, so as to reduce the burden and to help carry more.

2. Fear of God
Fear motivates. Fear prevents sinning.
Good fear keeps you in awe[of God] and draws you closer to know the truth.
Bad fear shows you're timid and makes you stagnant.
A leader do the things because they fear substandard; they fear mediocrity.
I pray because I fear losing the presence of God in my life.
I proclaim Christ because I fear people not given a chance to know about the truth!

3. Dedication and Commitment
A leader is dedicated to their people because they are God's people, and they are to bring their people towards their fullest destiny in God.
A leader is committed then even in times of fatigue and busyness, they still minister to their people whenever necessary.

It takes a different breed of people to be a HoGc leader. If you have what it takes, be proud of it.
I thank God that my Pastors and Leaders are carried my burden when I was down. So now I want to carry theirs!
I thank God again that they allow me to observe the way they live their lives fearing God and keeping holiness.
I thank God another time for they were dedicated to build me to be where I am today.
Therefore, gratitude is what I feel...

And here I have a video to show you about how a group of youth were showing their gratitude towards their leader.

Enjoy.. and be encouraged... This is Heart of God church...

Good news

Today is just a bombard of news.... It has been the cry of my heart to be able to do this so here I am...

Great day, great God...

Great Pastors, great church

Great people, great news!!

I am so happy that C5 had 3 new friends last weekend. More than that, people like Shu Qing has really grown so much. She is so hungry for more of God, and teachings from the church. Her heart is so open and submissive to the things that her leaders say. In contrary to her old introvert nature, she is now an atmosphere builder!!! Isn't this worth many hand claps for the power of God! And most importantly, she is constantly doing all that she can to tell her friends and loved ones about a life with Jesus. That is 1 courageous and loving spirit!

I delight in seeing her grow!! Ha-ha... I believe God is smiling too...

Then also, another person that I want to talk about is Audrey!! She is bringing 1 friend next weekend! She has the heart for others now... Seeing how other people needs Jesus so she invited them to church. This is so brave of her... So i was encouraging her to go out with other CG members which they did so, immediately after I said it... That is so fast and amazing...
Keep this up, Audrey.. you will keep growing in your life.

I would still want to talk about C5. I am not biased, but just that I am spending more time with them now! We must say that C5 has been praying a lot more especially xiao hong, ai lin and myself... Right now, we are so united and focused...

Hope

last weekend was an intimate service - I call it. Pastor shared with us their deep thoughts .

That's what makes HOGC a family, and not just an organization.

Hope is the main message. The hope after life, the hope for the future, the hope for now.
In life, there are many times where you need to exercise hope while you send someone off to a faraway nearby place, knowing that they will be with the Lord. That is heaven, for us... and you.

But you need to work it out ONCE for yourself, whether you will have hope in what you believe in and your future, your life after death....

it sounds quite contrary, doesn't it... Life after death... How can someone have life after death.
In Christ, it is definitely possible. Christ did it, and so can we, if we have Him in our lives.

Now, that is our hope! Replenished by His Word.

Pastor How then went on to share with us a simplified theology of the process of creation-recreation.
It compared the creation of Earth, with the creation of human.
1) Creation sets
2) Chaos come in, void occurs, darkness sets in
3) The Spirit of God hovers and incubates
4) The Word of God sets forth
5) Recreation happens

True for our physical world, true for us human
We are all borne a child of God. That was creation by God for mankind.
But the sad thing is sin sets into the hearts of man, and causes chaos. The life of God is not in man anymore so spiritual void sets in, and causes darkness as there is no light of Christ.
By prayer and supernaturalism, the Holy Spirit hovers and begins to work in the hearts of man. That prepares it for the Word of God.
Thus when ready, God speaks, either directly, or through the mouth of man, to crack open the hearts for submission and obedience and followship.
Therefore, recreation starts happening, and a new life is created, in Christ, in spirit. We call it a new man. That’s why, Christians are considered to have a new life. From that moment onwards, God begins to work in the heart further more to change the character, value system, hearts, spirit, and instill HOPE.

True for the world, true for mankind… God has his methods and double mention is still His forte.
I love my God. I get to know His style now and then, it is so interesting. I love my Bible. I never get bored of it…

Hope, I pray, be with you!

Revival

Wow... it is already the 6th of October!!!

Just 1 blink and you will be at 2009... time really flies.
It has been an exciting September. I realized it must be so exciting that I did not even want to blog about it... Just too engrossed with day-to-day events..

but well, because a whole load of Oct, Nov and Dec events come up and shock my life around again, let me just blog and update what has been going through my mind recently...

1) Church has grown 200 people for the past 2 and a half months. This is phenomenal! It is beyond descriptive words... We are so thrilled...
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, hearts have not imagine, what God has installed for us to come... The future is going to be even more amazing.

2) A whole new batch of CGLs are doing so well... As someone who have walked the path before, I feel so proud of them!! I believe Pastors are so proud of them as well. They shall set a standard and a path for the next batch of CGLs to rise up... They will be chain, a flow, batches of teamwork, connection, and chemistry, DNA, spirit......a generation!

3) I am going for lunch now.. =) update more again...

Haha.

God has blessed us with this already!!

1) Growth - Mindset
2) Pastors
3) Conviction of the people - Idealism
