Another weekend but it is another WEEKEND

I have been attending services for 4 years already. was talking to valerie cheong this afternoon, sharing follow up and talking about life... we talked about commitment and making covenant with God. there and then, i recalled my covenant with God that I will never miss a single service. trully, i lived up to that... time has really passed.

it just dawn upon me... i have been to at least 228 "normal" services, excluding big events like FOP, emerge, conferences, seminars, bible studies, vacation bible school, BMTs, AMTs, prayer meetings, etc...

What was sad is that I can hear people say they feel bored during services... What about me? well, honestly, I don't feel bored. I am more than excited. Every sermons bring a new life to my being, it brings the sun up when it is down. It gives another purpose to live my next week - as I try to change myself to be better - to be like my Lord Jesus...

It adds another level to my principles - i love knowledge, and teachings and wise sayings.
I love to prove wrong people right by using the right method, the right way, the right words, the right principles, to the right side of life. sometimes, they just love to turn left... no wonder Jesus says, walk the narrow path, do not turn...

Life will definitely be easier if there is only 1 path.
But that will mean no challenge, no willingness, no true-felt feelings and passion, and desire.

Tests are good.
Tests shows the truth.
you are hardworking student.
you are a lazy student.
there is no bad student.
just lazy.
I love tests (feeling a pinch in my stomach =P)
but i love challenges.
it brings me further
i love bumps and shakes in life.
my goal is to make it to the end.
that grows patience. (James 1:2-3)

Imagine a rollder-coaster ride moving on ground level, going straight then right, then left then straight then straight some more, then right, the right, then up 1 metre high (only), then left, then left again, then straight, then down 1 metre, then left, then straight. you would have reached the station... how fun is that?

Life is like a roller coaster. we all get to the end. you can choose to go the EXCITING way, or the simple boring, unexciting way.

I want to change the world!
I want to make an impact.
My roller coaster will SHOCK you upside DOWN!!!

Make sure you wear the seat-belt

Revelation overflow...

Had an interesting idea to blog...
Post all my revelations!!! and my thoughts.. Sounds really good... haha... am typing with a bandaged index finger, accidentally slice off some skin just now. ooo...

1st note off my Handphone

LEAD
Not everyone is leader-leader, but everyone is a follower.
Not everyone is the kind that makes a decision and everyone in the whole world follows, like Obama, or president, or Pst Cho? haha... (everyone is a leader over themselves, that is not discussed in this scenerio)
But everyone definitely follows someone. Either their parents, siblings (usually older), friends, pastors and/or leaders...
So... not everyone is a leader-leader, but am sure all are followers.

That makes the ultimate leader-Jesus.
He do not need to follow anyone. He is God Himself and He came down and lived in a human body. Imagine God living as a human to identify with us... So He follows Himself...
Therefore, human leadership is the carrying of God's burden. - exodus
Moses was a GREAT leader, he led 4 millions people out, but he call it - serving God.
lead your life. Make decision.

FAITHFUL
For much is given, much is required.
If God has given you talents, its your honour to use it wisely. If someone gave you money, use it wisely, fruitfully.
- If not, its disobedient to God, as God tells us to be fruitful.
- frustrating. When something doesn't work as it should.

faithful to what is other man's.

be faithful to what is other man's and God will bless you yours.

Got to find your own talents and giftings. God is judging us according to our faithfulness.

God judged us same according to the talent that He gave us.

faith-root word.
To be faithful means to keep doing

going out soon

We had a great weekend! Pastor taught us the 4 part of a BIGGER series.

This time is territory.
last week was heart.
previous 2 weeks were emphasized on mindset.

We are territorial beings. God knew it all along. You can see that in the Bible...
I love the "feel something is true - then realised it has already been in the Bible" feeling... GOd always amazed us all the times. So what God likes are descendants and territories. We hold our grounds. Not in LORDING, and selfishness (part 3 has taught you about mercy), but in taking authority and having successes in life.

Owning something does not necessarily mean occupying it.

That will be sad if you saw you own your house, but you CANNOT occupy it because some bad guys or burglars have occupied you and keep you away. Its the same with us human beings.

God intended us to be a good steward of our body, soul and spirit. But sometimes we let evil thoughts occupy us and control us... "cheng he ti tong" - chinese idiom. haha...

So, take charge of your lives. If you ever feel hard to do so, that is why you need Jesus. He is the Lord of lords, God of all... He can help you barge the intruder out of anything. I love my God. He is my Protector.

Another cool phrases from Dominic's Zone F preaching.
If you are sinning, you will not pray.
If you are praying, you will not sin.

How true? People who are sinning are caught in it. They might feel guilty and shun from God and their leaders. They don't pray...
People who are praying are captivating their minds under the obedience of Christ, alligning their mind to God, and growing their spirit.

Spirit > body (flesh, lust, selfish desires, bad intentions, stupid ideas)
Spirit wins, no sins...

Enjoy... tuesday and wednesady are my 2 exam papers.
Manufacturing Logictics & Simulation
Managing Inforamation in Organization

I owe you!!!! wahahaha.... Grade A...

Going to St Gabs... you guys are exciting.. we are trying bak chor mee at serangoon. heard its nice... I love good food. hahahah...

God, help me study!

Jesus, I trust you...

I believe all things are possible... This is what I preach, this is what i live my life...

Matt 6 "Do not worry"
James 1:2-3 "Count it all joy when you fall in various trials (tests), for it produces patience..." (writer's emphasis)
Matt 25 "Parable of the talents" God has given us talents and giftings... And when we are faithful to the small things, we will be entrusted with much!

So be faithful to the small things like exams and tests, and problems with life (WITHOUT neglecting services, CG, your families, your leaders, your LIFE), and God will give you big things...

what are the big things.... woohoo... amazing... wonderful dreams...
your passion! Millionaire... pastor... church of 100,000, leaders meeting in singapore indoor stadium... WOOhoo!

Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, the mind has not conceived what the Lord has promised to those who love Him!

Study now!!!!

Love others! Respect is important.

In our Behind the Scenes series, CNN correspondents share their experiences in covering news and analyze the stories behind the events. CNN's Cal Perry reports on a refugee camp in Islamabad, Pakistan.
A child in the camp plays. The lack of clean water in the camp presents the danger of typhoid, a doctor says.

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/08/14/pakistan.christians/index.html#cnnSTCText

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- They are not war refugees, not displaced by violence; rather they believe they're here because they are Christian.

A mother of two sobs as she tells us, "I have no money. No money for books or uniforms to send my children to school." It's around 110 degrees Fahrenheit in this squalid camp in downtown Islamabad, where 2,000 Christians have settled, literally in the middle of the road.

The Christian population of Pakistan is only 5 percent of the overall population. Overwhelmed by a Muslim majority, at times they face violent attacks. Other times, they believe they're expelled from their lands -- faced with a distant and dark future.

This group has ended up living in tents for the past 3 months.

They say the government kicked them off their land without warning: only because they are Christian. The government tells a different story, saying that they were given plenty of warning. Further than that, they say they will take care of this problem, a problem they are well aware of.

The minister of minority affairs, Shahbaz Bhatti, says, "We are constitutionally bound to protect the life and property of the minorities and to look after the interests of the minorities in this country. Because they played a role in the founding, they are equal citizens of the country. Yes, there is a problem, but we are trying to solve those problems."

The truth is, regardless of any religious strife, people are dying of poverty in this camp. Two have died since the group settled here, and children lay in the sun, totally exposed to the sun, suffering slowly. We brought a doctor to the camp; he seemed stunned, both at its location and the conditions.

"I think there's a danger here, especially with some of the younger children, that they could just die from dehydration or from all kinds of infections," says Dr. Rixwan Taj. "I am very surprised, really because this is the center of Islamabad, just right in the center. And every facility is not but 10 minutes from here."

The water the camp is using to survive on is a broken pipe that runs underneath the road and out one side. At the camp, the water is used for drinking and washing. It happens to run over a pile of trash and directly down into the makeshift toilets, which are two holes in the ground. Taj tells us the obvious: Typhoid will come to this camp -- the conditions are ripe.

Other countries of course deal with religious strife; minorities all over the world face an uphill struggle. But here, with the addition of poverty, in the oppressive heat -- in an over-crowed camp on the side of the road in downtown Islamabad -- it seems that much worse.

A little girl stares into our camera and rhythmically says, "Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah." Her religion teaches her that "the poor" will inherit "the kingdom of heaven."

Heaven seems a long way off

Bigger

Pastor How always lift up our thoughts and change our mindset.
today was really BIGGER.

mindset is your mind that is set...
that is why sometimes you need to break it to change it.

in order to have a new bed in your room, you need to change the old one with the new. you can't possibly have both... old wineskin cannot mix with new wine...

renew your mind...

think bigger.

hate smallness.

70 is too little!

33 is too little!

$100 is too little!

10 leaders are too little!

2 CGLs are too little!

I want 100!
I want 50!
I want $1000
20 leaders then feels more like it...
5 CGLs is okay.

Want may not necessarily means materialism.
Wanting for a Godly purpose is good.
Want more prosperity to bless others is a good deed.
Want more leaders to love people more is a great desire.

Met Ivan to discuss about F2 CEG... it was inspiring and encouraging. It was role-playing too. Ivan just showed me what a zone manager does, and what a leader would do... So many things that I need to buck up and expand...

good thought of the day and encouragement for hogc leaders:
there are many churches with only 100 people or less, so all those that are leading above 30 or so should thinking like a senior pastor! =)

Think Big...

Saw a few inspiring twits by Mr Robb Thomson.

Here is what he preached to his congregation earlier:
1) Emotions are the prisoners of focus. (Wow, that is so true. Focus reigns over emotions)
2) Transformation is the result of being cut to the heart by Heaven's truth... The proof of its presence is a changed mind... (wooohooooo..... )
3) Spirituality maturity is not the ability to hear God's voice, but the discipline to execute its intentions (James 1:22)

Here are some more on transformations:
1) Transformation is the result of being cut to the heart by Heaven's truth... The proof of its presence is a changed mind...
2) Nothing can bring more positive change in life than the daily intake of bible doctrine...
3) Jesus has won the victory, but leaves it to us to enforce it.
4) It is only until you stop listening to yourself and begin talking to yourself that Change will take place in your life... (THIS IS SO SO TRUE! 4Dimension, change-taking thoughts)

What should i tell myself now?

DO YOUR PROJECT!!!!

a whole of computer!

Been sitting in front of the computer the whole day!

let me just blog for a while... 5 minutes... i time myself...
been doing so much of dream weaver and touching on photo shop today too.
I feel like a programmer so much!

Somehow, i felt like my course is crazy. Business process and system Engineering is enough already, and we have to learn Information Technology now to do up a web-page for our project. And when you do a web-page, you sure need pictures to design and decorate it...
My course can indirectly be called Business process and system Engineering, with Designing InfoTech. Multi-talented!

muahaha.. okay. 3 minutes up...

midnight oil is burning...

God has blessed us with this already!!

1) Growth - Mindset
2) Pastors
3) Conviction of the people - Idealism
