Leadership

A mighty general just conquered a city and was travelling towards another city when he saw an old man.

General: Who are you?
Old Man: I am a king?
General: You are a king? Ha-ha. I just conquered the outskirts of south-west china. How about you? Where is your kingdom?
Old Man: I am a King over myself.

Greater is he who rules over his own house than he who rules over kingdoms but not over himself.

The worst thing that could ever happen is that a "seemingly" great leader is found to have bad integrity character, lust, womanizing attitude, pride, bitterness, promiscuous behaviour. oh man... save your breadth. That is going to be so bad. It is so dangerous, especially if you are his followers. Thank God for Pst How and Pst Lia... They never make me feel insecure.

From them, I learn that leadership is inspiring and hence, leading people to a destination, or progress in life. Before you begin to lead others, you have to lead yourself first.
Leadership must always be inspired, be a role-model, be an example.
Leadership must not be forced, nor instilled.

Henceforth, before you lead others, you must be a leader over your own life.

So Pastor taught us about Self-leadership.
Specifically leading the 3 part being of a human - spirit, soul and flesh.

In life, you can go to many teachings, seminars, etc, but there are some that you just remember even without taking down notes. You see the importance of it and you just carry it with you all your life.
You talk about it.
You live it through.
You breathe it in.
You let it out.
You influence others.

Self-leadership is about it...
Discipline is what you'll need. Lead yourself. see a change.
